George Tomsco was the lead guitarist for the influential band the Fireballs, who recorded such classic
instrumentals as "Bulldog," "Torquay," "Fireball," and many others back in the 1950s and 1960s.
He is also very well-known for his session guitar work on records by Buddy Holly and Arthur Alexander,
and the number-one record "Sugar Shack" by Jimmy Gilmer and the Fireballs.
At the festival he was backed by "Burnin" Mike Vernon and 3 Balls of Fire: Pete Curry on drums and Vic Gerrard on bass
